Origins to Present Day
David and Christine Morgan set up Transpeed in 1980. The first few years were a busy time for removers and Dave acquired his H.G.V. and Operator's licences while Chris got together a super band of packing ladies. Large vehicles were bought and we started to carve a niche for ourselves as a friendly local family remover.
The late eighties and early nineties, as we all know, were not kind and we suffered but survived. Since then, however, business has been good, and in addition to domestic removals, we have become involved with commercial and international moving.
Over three decades later, Transpeed are still very family orientated. Our three children (young adults!) have all packed or portered, Dave keeps busy with visiting potential clients and Chris acts in an advisory capacity! We are conscious of the things that matter. You won't find our uniformed porters wearing trainers or showing frustration because we can't get into the property until 2 p.m! Our vans and equipment are of a high quality.
About 75% of our work comes from recommendations and previous customers. Many solicitors and estate agents are kind enough to recommend us to their clients. Carrying out removals is not rocket science, but the simple things need to be taken seriously. We are careful, punctual and civil.

Transpeed – Movers, not Shakers!
